While campaigning in South Carolina, Rick Perrys wife, Anita, said its Barack Obamas fault that their son no longer has a job, CNN reported. Try to follow the story because it takes a little while to get there. Griffin Perry, who graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2006, worked as an investment banker until two weeks ago. According to regulations set in place last year by the Securities and Exchange Commission, you cant bring in the big bucks at Deutche Bank and be intimately involved in political campaign activity. So in order to help out with his dads presidential run, the younger Perry resigned from his job two weeks ago. Its the Obama administrations fault because they passed the regulations that made it difficult for him to legally do both, his mother said. My son had to resign his job because of federal regulations that Washington has put on us. He resigned his job two weeks ago because he cant go out and campaign with his father because of SEC regulations
My son lost his job because of this administration, Anita Perry said, according to CNN. With Americas unemployment rate at 9.1 percent, voters want to see candidates address to job loss. Anita Perry was speaking in response to a question from a man who lost a six-figure salary and now works as a handyman, the station reported. Surely he could relate to a guy voluntarily leaving Wall Street to help get his father elected, right?

Her husband needs to be President before she can start blaming the other guy.

She sounds like what Romney has been praying for.

That’s odd. You would think that all companies would be fine with employees taking paid time off to hit the campaign trail for a candidate.

This reminds me of Romney saying his son’s didn’t have to serve in the military, because they were serving by helping him run for president in 2008.
Perry’s son voluntarily gave up his job to help his father run in the presidential race.

Some people would dissect a knat for hair, if they thought they could massage it into a full sized hairball for pawing purposes. A convoluted, petty rag on a passing comment that was not campaign material, grant it, but hardly worth the paper, or post, its written on, but for the foaming lather it provides to the whiners, who chew and gnaw on the Perry candidacy.

It is not a passing comment if she was campaigning.

Rick Perry has been in hiding. He just ducked out of O’Reilly’s show tonight. He has been having his wife speak for him and she has been a whining disaster. He needs to put his campaign out of its’ misery.

Mrs. Perry is wacky and tacky.
Rick should tell her to shut up and get out in the kitchen to rustle up some grub. ;)

I can't believe they didn't shut her down after she played the victim card for her husband. Now, she's playing it for her son. I don't think anyone is going to feel sorry for her son. He left voluntarily, and if he's now working for the campaign, is he not getting paid?
As for her first victim card, if she really believes her husband was called to be President, she should be expecting slings and arrows. She should point it out and wear it like a badge of honor, but not whine and complain.
Has she got 1 more vote for Rick with these public statements? I doubt it, and perhaps has lost a few.
I was all in for Palin and am now having a hard time finding another horse in this race. I was leaning toward Perry figuring he had the best chance to beat Romney, but he stumbled in the 1st 2 debates. I figured he would recover and do much better next time out, but no dice. He evidently just isn't really interested or can't debate...or both.
I have no doubt the Perrys are good, solid Christians, but her statements haven't made me feel any empathy for Rick, and now I'm looking at Cain or Newt. My main problem with Cain is this 9-9-9 plan, as I detest the idea of ANY federal sales tax. Secondly, I am not quite sure he's ready for primetime. I fear some major faux pas that will make him unelectable. As for Newt, he's the smartest guy in the room...unless he's snuggling with Nazi Pelosi on a loveseat. *SIGH*. I think a Newt/Cain ticket might be the best option at this point.

He should hide. He’s supposed to be a rough and tough John Wayne type who will put our country back together again.
Instead, he is all hat and no cattle.

That reminds me of Mitt Romney serving on a
Mormon Missionary assignment in Paris and getting a deferment during the Vietnam War.
While others were drafted, Mitt was cruising through France in an expensive Peugeot heading to the Cote d’Azur when he and a group of friends collided with what was later reported to be a drunk Priest.

I hope Mrs. Perry is pretty. If this story is true she isn’t very bright.
