No? How long do you think it will be before that 9% for "the rich" becomes 10%, or 11%, or 12%? Same critic applies even more so to the current tax code. So find a new attack line Perrybot cause that dog won't hunt. Congress can simply raise tax rates anytime it wants to now.
It would be harder to raise taxes under 9-9-9 because everyone pays so everyone would know they would be paying more.
Right now given all the loopholes and gimmicks they hid most taxation behind a fake screen of "it's only a tax on Business" or "it's only a tax on the rich" 9-9-9 takes that away. Everyone pays therefore no one thinks they are getting a free ride if taxes goes up

Nope. You keep assuming under 999 that Congress can't raise taxes differently. It can. Unless you amend the Constitution, Congress can and will raise income taxes on the rich just like it does now. 999 doesn't change that.
