California loses another good one.

What happens when there is nothing left in the swamp but leeches?

I was born in Santa Barbera in 1952. California was the most beautiful and promising state in the country. When I turned 17 I packed my gear, jumped in my 1948 Plymouth and moved to Dallas Texas and have never looked back.

I live in a small country house on 11 acres of land, a nice cement pond in the back yard. It's 10 miles to the closest town (pop 711) and 17 miles to the nearest shopping (Gainesville). All this for $142,000 is another reason to never go back.

California just loves to rag on my Governor, but please check your own back yard first. Boxer-Feinstein-Moonbeam etc.

All are welcome here, but please leave your CA attitude at the AZ border. Texas is more of a state of mine than a state.
