If Perry were “all politician” then wouldn’t his debate performances have been stellar? Politicians are great “debaters” in front of a TV camera, but genuine people are better in front of a town hall or shaking hands and talking to real people face to face...Perry is the latter, not the former. The debates are for people who like to make soundbytes...9-9-9 for example.

You might want to read the Jennifer Rubin blog on Perry, she thinks Mitch Daniels and John Kasich get it right in running a state and Perry kicked the can. Then he ran around telling folks, who don’t live in Texas,what a great job he has done - not from where I sit...in Texas.
