As far as I can tell most of the loudest Perry detractors are former Palin supporters. If the Governor had waited to announce his candidacy until after Palin had declined to run most of them would be in his camp.
I hope that’s not the case (Palin supporters being Perry detractors).
I was all out for Palin, truly thought and hoped she would run. I still find it hard to believe she decided not to.
But, even before that decision, I was glad Perry entered the race because I considered him a good second choice. I’m a lifelong Texan and I know what’s goin’ on round here. He’s been a good governor for us. Those that bring up really stupid stuff like the in-state tuition thing cannot be reasoned with. I’ve wasted a lot of space trying to do it.
They just hate Perry. I don’t know why. I don’t think they know why. They have some stock issues they hang it on, issues that aren’t worth a hill of beans when you think of what we’re up against with Obama.
Perry has created a job friendly climate in Texas and he would do the same for the country. Job friendly, people.
And some of you are hung up on giving in-state tuition rates. It’s scary the lack of perspective.
There are some Paul, Bachmann, Cain and Romney supporters that have been pretty vicious against Perry.
