That's because the "conservatives" he "hates" are liberals in disguise. A liberal is someone who believe in individual liberty as the greatest good. Such a belief is rampant among "conservatives" in America, but it has nothing to do with real conservatism. Such people have brought this country to where it is today. Real conservatives would never have allowed things to go the way they have. Our current troubles could have been prevented if a real conservative had been elected back in the 1960s. But the GOP wouldn't back a real conservative in 1964, and they won't back one now. Why? Because deep down they are liberals.
Palin, Romney, Cain, Perry, Huntsman, Paul. Bachmann: which would use federal force to close down the abortion industry on Day One? Which would eliminate federal taxation? Which would round up, intern, and deport every illegal alien? Which would regulate industry to serve the national interest? Which would break up concentrations of capital and make laws to favor small business and small farms? Which would militarize the borders? Which would bring the troops home from Europe, Japan, Korea, and elsewhere? Which would build a military force so frightening that no one would dare cross this country? Which would make the eliniation of Medicaid, Medicare, and all other forms of Geezer Welfare his top priority? Which would end federal welfare in all its forms? Which would ignore court orders regarding the so-called constitutional separation between church and state? Which one would zero the budgets of the EPA, FDA, OSHA, EEOC, FBI, DoE, HUD, HHS, NASA, and other federal bureaucracies? Which would round up and imprison genuine subversives? Which would push through laws to make English the sole and official language of government? Which would support state efforts to restore the sodomy laws, adultery laws, divorce laws, and pornography laws? Which would dismantle the nightmarish "civil rights" tyranny that has existed since 1964?
NONE OF THEM, that's who. Because THEY ARE NOT CONSERVATIVES.
Buchanan is the only real conservative left. That's why the fake conservatives hate him. One need not agree with Buchanan on every issue, but hatred of him is a guarantee that one is a liberal "conservative" who buys GOP-brand, Limbagh-pleasin', no-fault divorcing, free-trading, Serb-killing, football-watching, meth-cooking, sweatshop-loving, drywall-contractor Chamber of Commerce "conservatism" by the gallon jug.
Buchanan is right about almost everything. He's right about what's coming, too, God help my children who will be forced to pay the tab we "conservatives" have run up in our futile quest to please bloodthirsty Lady Liberty.
