So you want to keep a progressive income tax, one of the hallmarks of Marxism, a complicated corporate tax system that Congress can use to choose the winners and you want low income earners to have representation without taxation, which is what has gotten us to the miserable state we are now.

You know this is a conservative website, correct?

Name one conservative President who pushed and or passed a flat tax? None did because it is not possible to pass it as we live in the real world after all. They all pushed for reductions in the current tax rates. However the conservative Presidents did not introduce a new tax such as Cain national tax and that new tax is exactly what we called Liberalism, in fact it is at the heart of Liberalism. How can a person who claims to be conservative introduce a new tax? How can someone who claims to be conservative support a new tax?

Now is there is rule on Free Republic stating that members must support flat tax? I am not aware of it. Is there a rule on Free Republic stating that members must support a new tax such as national sales tax? I am not aware of it. Please let me know if these rules exist.
