I watched the Ken Burns doc on Prohibition eposode 1 last night, it was interesting how the “progressives” manipulated the temperance movement.

Good observation.

Yep. It was feminists who gave us prohibition. It’s no coincidence that woman got the vote the same year that prohibition started.
