Hey...you’re up too early for a vacay week. Go back to sleep (a dreary, rainy Friday morning).
Listening to wpgb (radio) first, the newsette reader stated ‘Republicans’ killed Obama’s jobs bill’—they didn’t, not enough Dem support) and...no mention of the supposed cleaning of Zucchotti Park of Occupadoes...
I was in bed so early last night, that I can’t sleep any more! lol! I have a list of things to do anyway. I hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow. I have garlic to plant! I’ve been doing indoor work all week. I have to get to the outdoor stuff!
Did you see the picture, on the WPGB website, of the Marine holding the umbrella over the Won? Old Snarky Barky looking smug. >:-(
The loafers and losers are getting out of Zucotti Park.
These “occupations” are nothing but an excuse for a party.
Yea! Mentioning the eviction of the hippies!!!
Btw, why were the Occupadoes calling for mops? Have I moissed a household hint? Mopping concrete and grass?
Howalooyah! Finally somebody who speaks a language I can understand! Yinz gotta’ be from Turtle Crick! I ain’t frum there, but I got friends that ARE!
I will have to look for that photo...glad to know you got some rest:)
Occupy Pittsburgh is this Saturday (same time as the Pitt Utah game at the Ketchup Bottle). This oughtta be fun.
Listening on the way home Jim had to play those Bawney Fwank cuts...UGH! He is so irritating I have to turn the volume down!
Good morning Tucker! Welcome to the thread!
Actually, I’m originally from Coraopolis, but haven’t lived there in years. I’m in Indiana, Pa. I guess you can take the girl our of Pittsburgh, but you can’t take the Pittsburgh out of the girl! lol! But several of our fellow yinzers are living in da ‘burgh.
Welcome, n’at, to the Quinn and Rose thread:)
Listening to Bawney makes me want to reach through the radio and give him a hanky for that slobbering. Wow, the people in Mass who vote for him are scraping the bottom of the barrel with old Bawney!
Secondly just for grins and giggles I'm watching the OWS live feed and hoping there is some action. The comments in the chat are hilarious. Really these people are CLUELESS!
SHOOT! Bloomey backed down and called off the cleaning! No eviction! The crowd is going WILD!
My phone won’t support the live OWS site. Sigh.
Bloomie backed off apparently.
Ok...not being critical here...BUT...they didn’t discuss or rarely mention Palin before she said NO RUN...now...listen to what Rose is reading.
Some days I just don’t get it.
Wow! Rose saying nice things about Sarah! She’s right; the McCain campaign stunk until Sarah Palin came along.
I DON’T WANT ANOTHER DOLE OR MCCAIN!!!!! Romney is one of those!!!
Maybe Bloomie is being fiscally conservative...rain coming to NYC...wash soe debris away; weaken the immune systems of those remaining...
I would say they should salt the Park after the Occupaoes leave, but Bloomie has his priorities.
I agree on Romney...and am not sold on Perry (lookong over my shoulder for Perrywinkle and/or Perrydactyl attacks).
Cain, I can support (and I hope Palin endorses!!!)
Doesn't really matter now though. I'm getting really worked up about Cain.
It would be nice if Sarah endorsed him but she probably won't. She may even be hoping for a locked convention and get the call, but for me that's a turn off.
One thing that does worry me though is the number of people who seem to want Newt as Cain's VP. Another turn off for me. He was great and is still a great thinker/idea guy but his negatives out weigh that for me.
Cain mentioned Ryan or DeMint for VP. I’d love to see a Cain/Ryan ticket.
