Polls this early are essentially worthless. In October 2007, John McCain was not even on the GOP nomination radar. Yet (sadly) he went on to take the GOP nomination.

Interestingly, Cain strongly endorsed Mitt Romney in early 2008. Then, Romney was ahead in the polls. How did that work out?

By the way — and it almost goes without saying — Cain’s endorsement of RINO Romney was a *major* lapse in judgment. Do you agree?

I believe he endorsed Romney over McCain.

No moreso that Perrys’ endorsement of Rudy or Newts (more recent) endorsement of Scozzafava.
