We ended up making money on TARP. No Child Left Behind held teachers and school responsible for children's achievement for the first time. The Bush budgets funded the war on terror we benefit from today and Medicare pt. D stopped the Democrats from ramming thru their healthcare socialism ahead of time by watering it down and running the whole thing thru the private sector. Its the only program that runs a surplus.

Really? He didn't support such actions. Your arguing for the use of Gov't in those realms of business. If you believe Gov't should be involved in the business of medicine, automobiles and bailing out failed business models, I can see why you would support it.

This is one of those ideological beliefs, either you support Gov' involvement or you don't.
