Cain also said that he’d seek the help of his friend — and fellow competitor — Newt Gingrich as a campaign manager, chief of staff or strategist.

“Newt is a brilliant mind,” he said. “I don’t know how things are going to turn out, but I would call upon Newt Gingrich to assist me at some point in some way because he brings so much knowledge and insight to this whole process, but more importantly, to the problems we face in this country.”

Herman Cain replied to Jay Leno's lightning round Newt Gingrich question with "brilliant"--

Romney: "nice hair"; Bachmann: "nice lady"; Perry: "good governor for Texas"; Paul: "crabby old man"

Newt would know the ins and outs of the Congressional-executive sausage factory--

--and has a unique conceptually based mind--

Of course Newt has his marital-Hillary-Pelosi campaign ribbons in a row--

all to the contrary notwithstanding.

Newt is always quick to correct the faulty premise to the ubiquitous why-haven't-you-Republicans-quit-beating-your-wives questions from moderators and the press.

It is no longer the stifling media Skinner box of 1995.

Rush never fails to cite that as the primary cause of the budget battle defeat.

The devil Obama would be coming down to Georgia at his electoral peril.
