After the IRS is abolished I will gladly accept 999.

IRS is not needed after 999. The tax form will be the size of a post card.

With 999 I would think the IRS will be adding staff, not reducing it. If nothing else we would have more people paying federal income taxes and a whole new federal sales tax to administer. I’m not against 999, but we would be throwing out the existing tax code not the IRS.)
