Retirement income is not taxed under this plan - there is no double taxation.

The way I see it is they lose their privileged status. They have been paying 15% less “tax”. Am I wrong?

Sounds like they get really screwed. The fact is Social Security wasn't taxed until Clinton, so I guess if they scrap the tax code it would no longer be taxable. Well in theory {:-) we should remember that Clinton taxed dead people retroactively.
