The Perry Walker Way

October 12th marks the launch of a new media and grassroots campaign aimed at confronting President Obama’s “Jobs Plan.” With unemployment remaining at record levels, we can no longer rely on the past policies of out-of-control spending and taxation that continue to fail. We must look to leaders the have faced similar economic turmoil, but were able to obtain positive results.

Two of these examples are Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin and Governor Rick Perry in Texas. Gov. Walker has led a manufacturing driven jobs recovery with the sector growing at a rate more than double the national average. Gov. Perry’s policies during his tenure created over 1 million jobs – even while the nation lost over 2 million jobs.

These successes are not limited to these two states, however. It is no coincidence that conservative governors lead the top 5 states with highest overall job growth and the top 5 states with highest manufacturing-sector growth (Aug ‘10- Aug ‘11). They have proven that jobs can return to America with the right policies and the right leader! ...

This ad is gold.

I love that it's North and South — anchoring fly-over country — not at all elite. SOLID, strong and unapoligetically religious.

Both Gov. Perry and Gov. Walker are comfortable in their skin, proven leaders and instinctively conservative.

I hope you dont mean Medina as the Tea Partier. She ruined herself with the birther nonsense, and then was beaten by the voters in the primaries garnering only 18% and a whopping 4 counties.

I have seen this ad and from the standpoint of Gov. Walker in Wisconsin I am darn proud of him and our state of Wisconsin for putting We The People FIRST and foremost in front of the greedy, selfish union thugs. This ad comes across clean, precise and to the point. Remember THAT is what the Tea Party is all about.

I also heard O’Reilly and da Kraut talking about “it’s over - Romney is da man” and I say NOT EVER AGAIN should we let the elites and RINOs and the MSM choose our candidate. Not EVER. We had Bob Dole - great man but not prez material, we had Juan McCain, no comment, We had Gerald Ford. I don’t care “whose turn it is to be the nominee”. I want someone who will FIGHT to win the presidency. This ad shows good people like Gov. Walker can and will do what is right for this country. It’s a great ad. Stop knocking this ad, please. No one person will meet the totally conservative wish list as a candidate. Hang in there, folks as the ride will be bumpy.

A thinly veiled Perry campaign organization and ad tied to the larger Tea Party movement. Rick loves to hijack (heartless) conservative movements when it’s in his best interest.

I actually did some investigating and I found that it is actually produced by the Tea Party Express. So, I guess it’s more of a sign of how out-of-touch the Tea Party Express is.

Anyone who thinks that the Tea Party at large will support Captain Gardasil once they know his record is smoking something. The Tea Party is STAUNCHLY anti-corruption and anti-establishment. Perry is the poster boy for the corrupt establishment.

Sue me.

You should either move to Texas or elect Rick Perry as your president, smoothsailing, so you would be protected from such frivolous lawsuits. Tort Reform, baby! LOL

My guess? That comes in part because when he called Palin after her announcement and asked for her endorsement, she pitched energy policy as a key factor in her decision.

(As well, it’s likely because the guy is just not a good, responsive thinker at all.)

Yes. She may not have been a good candidate, but she was tea party backed.

At least the Tea Party Express is run by real conservatives in California (mostly Gray Davis recall and Prop 187 people, old Reaganauts and Tom McClintock boosters -- McClintock being an American Conservative Union/ACU 100%'er), but your point is well taken that they are diverging from the Tea Party here, and that Perry's venal, toolful political m.o. is antithetical to Tea Party values.

It is entertaining to see some of these anti-Perry posts.

Among the most laughable are the ones where the poster actually thinks they’re talking to Rick Perry!

Makes me wonder what else they talk to. You know, trees, fire hydrants, imaginary friends, that sort of thing.
