Illinois is not alone as a state where guns are not allowed to be carried.

I live in Maryland , and only those who few who the State Police allow to have permits can carry.

Damned few. Our 2nd. Amendments rights have been in the toilet for years, thanks to a Democrat lock on Maryland Government.

CT isn't much better. When I read things like this, the first thought that goes through my mind is, what OTHER rights are they impugning?

If you can get to it, the Grand Jury can issue Presentments and force the prosecution of such officials.
