I commend you for trying to present the facts and prevent an ‘emotional’ response.
The point I’ve been trying to make is that in addition to the facts, there is a political angle to this story.
Reverse the players and the parties.
Suppose that this had happened under Bush’s watch.
What do you think the response from the public and especially the media would have been?
Here’s the other point.
Why did this administration even pretend to care about what the Iranians are alleged to have been planning? This is a guy who literally could not care less what happens to America or Americans.
Of all the ‘plots’ and actual attacks against American interest, why pursue this one?
I’ll say it again. Politics.
That is all the Communist-in-Chief cares about. He’ll offend whatever allies he needs to and cozy up to and apologize to whatever enemies he needs to in order to put himself in the best political position possible.
As I said in another post, this is nothing compared to Iran’s development of nuclear weapons. If this administration were truly concerned about an Iranian threat, they should have encouraged Israel to take out Iran’s nuclear facilities.
One lame nuke put into orbit using the missile-guidance technology that Slick Willy sold to the ChiComs and detonated over the US will result in an EMP that will wreak havoc in the US.

Obama won’t do what’s necessary to end all of this.
Sanctions are never going to solve the Iranian nuke problem or the terrorist threat that the IRI is and has been.
The only thing that will, is bringing down the IRI regime...and no administration since the hostage crisis (Pres. Reagan included, I’m sorry to say) has been willing to do that. (tho I give some points to Pres. Bush for starting in that direction. Had Cheney been Pres, I believe it would have happened.)
