The question is, “Why now?””
If you believe the story is NOT made up, then the “why now” should be asked of the Iranians.
So the question must be asked, why the big DOJ press conference on Tuesday, between the announcement of forthcoming DOJ subpoenas, and the issuing of same?
It's obvious even to a child.
But the Pravda Press MSM is all to happy to play along, however. "Oh, everybody look over there at the Dastardly Iranian Plot!"
No, because our enemies, such as the Iranians, are ALWAYS plotting. Any day of the week we could point the finger at them and hit a plot.
The question is why is the current administration focusing on this now?
The answer is: politics.
Obammie the Commie’s poll numbers are in the dumps.
The economy is tanking.
Scandals are popping out left and right.
His attorney general may well be tried and convicted of perjury.
And Hillary needs a situation like this to shift attention back to her, in case the DNC decides to replace Obama or Biden to make the 2012 ticket more electable.

Simple equation: There is X number of column inches each day in the newspapers and X number of news bBroadcast hours each Day. If the Administration offers "sensational" news such as a terrorist plot it crowds off other news like "Fast and Furious" and "Solyndra."
Actually, we've been at war with Iran all along...and Pakistan. Maybe we should just make it official...

I thought it was Aug. However, his arrest was about 10 days ago. Obviously, they were still tracking this guy, whether it was June or not, and had to play along in order to get more info & evidence and find out all the players. They can’t just announce the story the 1st day the DEA agent is contacted.
And you think that the 1st day the undercover DEA agent is contacted, the story is gonna break before they have a chance to follow up and see where things are heading & get more evidence?

But let the subpoenas fly, and his crew searches for ANY plausible way to change the subject.
And you can just bet that the actual investigators on the Iranian Stooge Plot are livid. They have their own timetable, trying to roll up other valid terror contacts from the "controlled" jihadist, and Holder just uses their case like a Kleenex for one big nose blow, because it suited his timing.
You can just bet it went like this: Monday, Holder finds out subpoenas will be out by the end of the week. "Quick, what do we have that's hot and juicy that I can take credit for in a big hurry?"
"Well, not much. We have this Iranian bozo, but he's a mental case."
"Iranian? PERFECT! Plan the press conference for 0900 Tuesday. That'll knock the wind out of Issa's sails."
So the big press conference was purely a show, timed to derail Issa's subpoenas. The presser could have been held last week or next year or never. If anything, the big presser killed any other investigative work on the case. Holder just used the case like a Kleenex.
Fellows, let's all GTF up. Of course it wasn't made up, just focused upon and is having the crap spun out of it. It is neither more ... nor less ... serious than a thousand other Iranian acts of terror, provocations, and insults.
The fact that it is true makes it all the more interesting a diversion.

Yep. Obama/Hillary/Holder could care less if Iran gets a nuke, but threaten THEM with subpoenas, and they will risk provoking a war with Iran just to deflect attention from the 200+ fast and furious murders they caused.

Yes it was stopped because the guy mistook an undercover DEA agent for A Mex. drug cartel guy. But they couldn’t announce anything back then. They had to play along to get more info & evidence.
