You really can't measure a candidate according to how they manage the professional campaign people. That's because it is all too easy to pick up one of them who is mentally ill, actually working for the Democrats or another candidate, or who is simply dishonest.

So, no, that's not a good method at all.

... this is true of cabinet picks, White House advisors etc. The MOST IMPORTANT JOB OF A PRESIDENT IS STAFFING. If you cant hire well, you will not be a good President. Period.

Bachmann even before campaign was notorious for staffing issues. She would be a poor President on that front, or at least have a ‘learning curve’.
