WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITHOUT FREE REPUBLIC?

Be free of people who have declared themselves judge and jury and the final say on who is qualified to be the president?

I used to donate when I could. I was a monthly donor some time ago. My blood pressure can’t take the hate that is being spewed. I’m not totally going away. I just feel less inclined to give to FR. Less inclined to visit FR.

FR seems to create a myopia where FR posters can only see the world through FreeRepublic lenses.

I don’t want FR to go away, it is still an entertaining place to visit when the spittle isn’t flying and cooler heads are discussing issues instead of tearing down potential candidates.

Cooler heads are the majority but the others are more vociferous and Jim's moderators do a very good job of trying to give folks leeway until those folks get too damn tiresome.
