Unless a somewhat electable conservative has active support, it will be Romney now that Palin/Kristy Kreme is out.

I would take Cain/Bachmann/Perry at this point.

Otherwise it is milktoast versus captain kool.

Because I feel we need a leader to "take us from the wilderness to the promised land", I fall on the story of Moses (without ascribing the same association with our Creator that Moses was privileged to have) I think that Newt is the answer. I would like it to be Newt with his wisdom and experience with Santorum or Cain as running mates.

We can find ugly memories in all of these, some have not surfaced yet ... but gimme a break ... ROMNEY?????? ...

Perry seems a nice guy, but I have a heart and I don't feel it is fair for the State to offer tuition to the poor "kids who did not ask to be born here or came illegally as a very small child" -- there are kids from here who can't go because of money and I have a family full of them. Perry also puts every answer off until tomorrow ... very off-putting to use a pun.

Bachmann is a true Conservative, but not a statesperson at all and abrasive. Her writers should have warned her that that cutesy remark about 9-9-9 --- 6-6-6 and the devil in the details, would come back to bite her.

I feel a sense of betrayal here to real conservatism when one "sin" or another from the past or even more Blinds us and makes us shun what we need!!!!!

Why worry about what the media will say -- they (the liberal elitists and Republican elitists and liberal media) -- will ALL say the worst about whomever we want.

Newt says everything with an eloquence and real gravitas (I know, overused and abused description) which OBAMA never had!

He knows what he is talking about!!! This is what we need!

Just as the Lord chose the very imperfect Moses ... we too need to choose with wisdom and not base decision on what we might consider to have been singularly offensive past performance to some of us and count that person out.

I will say again NEWT with a hope that he would choose Cain or Santorum as VEEP!
