Does it matter? The MSM is behind Romney.

Cain vs Obama would definitely make the race interesting (contrast).
The standard RINO candidate model is Romney: rich-white-big business-bailout-amnesty-wall Street-elite-big government. Who wants to see that run against Obama? I wouldnt even watch the debates of that. Cain vs Obama would be a blast.
The libs would be telling us the half-black liberal (obama) is the real African American and the full black (conservative) is just a Uncle Tom.

Note to all the other candidates........you may not like his plan, and I am sure plenty of fault can be found in it.......but, at least he HAS a plan, ya know, something to be debated...what kind of plan do the other candidates have???( I already know the answer )

Exactly. The best boss I ever had told me, if you aren’t making mistakes, you probably aren’t doing anything.
You can refine a plan. What do you do with nothing?

The weakest attack on 9-9-9 came from Bachmann, who only seems to know that 9-9-9 upside down is 6-6-6.<0> How cute.
Especially from a woman who told us last night that 22+5=28... when referring to her kids!

Fact is his plan is still a lot better than the existing system.

My problem is 9-9-9 will eventually become 30-30-30.

......but, at least he HAS a plan, ya know, something to be debated... Sure, but debate which plan? The 9-9-9 plan on his website which specifies a 9% sales tax on everything and allows for only income tax deductions for charitable donations only? Or the 9-9-9 plan he lays out depending on who he's talking to and which only taxes new goods...or exempts taxes on food...or some other wrinkle? Or the other part of his website which contradicts his 9-9-9 plan by calling for a tax deduction for medical insurance and which allows for health savings accounts, which I assume would also be deductible? It appears that Cain has more plans than Carter has pills. It's kind of hard to pin down exactly what we're supposed to discuss.

Especially from a woman who told us last night that 22+5=28... when referring to her kids! Maybe she included her husband? My wife used to do that when I did something that exasperated her.

He's a rocket scientist, (a real one) successful business man, problem solver, the only one of the group with the balls to present a plan. Any plan will have to pass congress, so at least this is a start. For businesses to move forward on its very good.
I was with the lady, but She's told me too many times about the kids.

I fear that a 9% Federal sales tax might sound good if income tax and corporate tax is also reduced to 9% like in Cain’s plan. But what happens the first time a democrat gets back in office and puts the income and corporate tax back up to 30%, and then says, “Oh by the way, let’s keep that 9% sales tax as well.”?

What would stop a Democrat from raising the current tax rates under the current structure?
At least with Cain’s plan, it reduces the need for tax lawyers, and anything that reduces the number of lawyers is a good thing.

9-9-9- nothing more than a silly gimmick
When pressed for details on many things (i.e. abort views, which economists supported his plan, etc), he either gets defensive, and says “next question”, or gives a confusing answer.
NO way he stands up to the intense scrutiny, from Romney, the Dems, or the media.
