You make an excellent point.

As much as I like Cain, I don't like that--unless the income tax were also abolished. The very next time the Democrats seize control of the government, they will increase BOTH the income tax and the national sales tax, and they will have an even greater money-cow to milk--to funnel the hard-earned money from the American people into their own bank accounts, which is all they are about in the first place.

I oppose a national sales tax unless it is part of a complete overhaul of the tax system which includes the abolition of the income tax.

It does. The 9-9-9 plan is a transition to a pure national sales tax.
