Romney is, yes, a Democrat, and is the Democrat choice for Republican nominee as the least likely to prevail against the official Democrat in the election, and if he does win, then there is no loss to the Democrats and some additional benefit in that Romney will be able to get Democrat initiatives through a Republican congress that just might oppose and bottleneck the same legislation from an official Democrat.

The Democrats will vote heavily in the Republican primaries and will get Romney nominated. They did it at least once before and gave us McCain as the Democrat nominee in the Republican Party. The Democrats, at least in this area, knew way before the Republicans did, that the kenyan was the Democrat winner in the 08 primaries. There was no reason to vote in the later Democrat primaries so many Democrats re-registered as Republicans.
