999 is a national sales tax and Mr. Cain should be ashamed of himself for trying to push that crap on the GOP.
999 is the transition plan to a Fair Tax. There won’t be a tax code when 999 passes.
If the end result of the 999 plan is a lower tax burden, I’m all for it.
A national sales tax gives me the power to decide (beyond necessities) if or how much of my money I want to give the federal government.
