Cain said that the doubling of the sales tax would be offset by the lower corporate tax breaks because corporations would lower their prices to stay competitive.

(I say doubling because I already pay 8.25 in Texas so my sales tax rate would more than double as would all those below the poverty level. What a losing issue)
