I love Newt in these debates. He doesn’t seem to be afraid of anyone.
Not only that, you get the sense that he actually processes the question and comes up with a pointed answer on the spot. Perry and Bachman sound like they are regurgitating index cards that their staff prepared before the debate, and Romney sounds like he's doing his best to interject as many buzzwords as he can.
Only Cain and Santorum are close to Newt when it comes to debating skills today.
That's because he is the only bare knuckle street fighter of the bunch, a guy who next to Reagan is the greatest conservative of the latter part of the 20th century.
