Thank you Grunthor.
IMHO, Perry supporters are becoming his greatest liability.
I have never seen a group lock together so angrily and nastily. Early on, I was actually listening and debating. In my mind, a well cited argument was gaining points for Perry and some of my initial reservations were losing steam.
But then, after Cian started gaining traction, things were just reduced to crap. Their arguments against Cain aren’t against his conservative ideals (although I have seen some well-thought-out arguments against the 9-9-9 plan). For the most part they’re about Machiavellian conspiracy theories that Cain is trying to get with Romney.
I’ve seen FReepers cite examples where Cain has gone after Romney and Perry supporters just ignore them and keep beating the drum.
It’s obvious now. They aren’t just against Romney. The aren’t for the most conservative candidate. They are part of a Perry cult and reason holds no sway. They will lie and twist anything to cut down a true conservative (that can actually beat Romney) just to promote their RINO of choice.
I’ve seen the same things that you have. A few of them are worth talking to and debate honestly, the majority of them however are bitter political hacks and liars.
I'd like to address your statement that Perry supporters are becoming his worst enemy.
I began reading this thread about the SC poll. Within a few posts, I see a sarcastic message that shows Perry crashing in a series of "rocket explosion" pictures. Followed by several people cheering and laughing about it.
As a Perry supporter, that offended me and I reacted to it. Admittedly, with bad language, and the moderator removed my post.
Then you asked me why I wouldn't be happy if Romney won with Cain as his V.P.
Followed by Perry supporters are his worst enemy. I guess its ok to make sarcastic attacks on Perry's campaign, but his supporters should sit back and be quiet? And if we speak up in his defense, we're the mean ones?
Please.
“I have never seen a group lock together so angrily and nastily.”
I certainly have.
I was for Perry early on because he seemed more electable, but as his campaign implosions continue, that frankly is in doubt.
I have been a Herman Cain fan for around a decade and am in his camp now. I have been amazed with the conspiracy stuff as well.
I really don’t buy “conspiracy” campaign organizations at all. Why would someone run for president just to help someone win. It makes no sense at all.
That's the way Perry's hired gun Carney trains 'em.
I agree with your post 39.
The Pbots are nasty, and only hurt their chosen candidate.
I am so pleased Mr.Cain is doing so well.
I am ready to make a contribution to this fine American.
Due to a Freeper heads-up, I caught Cain on Hannity last night. With each and every speaking engagement, Herman impresses more and more.
Go, Herman, Go!
Rock America like a HermanCain!
