Hmmm, I noticed one of the grievances was rising student debt. Seems these little maggots might want to go to their nearest university and protest their tenured, liberal college professors who bemoan big business. Maybe they should be against big education. These little pukes are raging hypocrits and don't even see it.

How many of you think this group will actually get the liability insurance policy required? I bet they don’t. This is a great way to get rid of them, and if all the cities had this requirement, as well as the clean up they mention in the permit, they might see these whiners go home earlier.
We’ll see if the Occupy Dallas group actually gets the liability policy as required. You know they won’t clean up as required.

I wonder how much 1 million of liability insurance costs and where thee money for it will come from?

Only 1 million? WHAT? I personally have 1 million in liability on house and car for wife and myself. I don’t think 1 million will cover the damage from these people.

Will someone write a policy for them? or will they have to put up a cash bond?

"The grievances are from rising costs in health care to overwhelming student debt to the gross mishandling of the mortgage crisis to the rapidly-growing national debt to the protection of criminals with certain political and corporate ties." I thought ObamaCare was going to fix the first. /s

I think the million is the price of the insurance premium, not the claim. Yet.

Usually get million dollar liability coverage for a major single day Hotel event for a couple hundred. A multi Day event is more expensive. They also want to know if there will be alcohol served, music, animals etc... These guys probably have to pay the maximum for these types of events. Probably no more then a thousand though, assuming an underwriter will write them a certificate.

Sounds like somebody is actually encouraging an OWS event in Dallas. The events in the story are portrayed as a way of preventing one.
