One pound of Smuckers Natural is only $2.48 at Walmart. So, likely $3.30+, soon. We read this earlier and stocked up. It has a 6 month sell by date and peanut oil can go rancid, but kept cool and dark it should be good for longer, unopened. My husband could live on the stuff, so it goes pretty fast, around here.

The ones w/hydrogenated oils would last longer, I suppose. Most of them are what I would call *peanut spread*, though, not real peanut butter.

I just bought a 4 lb. (64 oz.) container at HEB (house brand) for $5.17 today. Most of their house brands are pretty good. I have bought their peanut butter before and like it.
