What the Texas citizens and legislature decided to do regarding children of illegals should be of no concern to you in TN. Federal law requires the children to be educated in public schools. If such children, whether native born here or after attending school at least three years as a TX resident and graduating from HS, have the grades to qualify for college then they can attend at the in-state tuition rates. ....The students or their families must still pay for the tuition, books and fees. ...Most who qualify attend community colleges. ....I think I recently read here on FR that the total of such students was around 1% of college enrollment. ....Waaaay to many people making a big deal out of this issue.

As for not loving Mexicans, I would not vote for a candidate who did not love a particular group of people just because I do not agree with them being here. :)
