You left out that our glorious indigenous people reveled in torturing captives. This was high entertainment for them before and after the white man came. Stuff like carefully slitting a captives belly, pulling the intestines out, roasting them then forcing him to eat them. Roasting and eating children as their parents were forced to look on. Demonic paganism.

Not everybody did those things, yet every society has had some of that sort of thing going on to a greater or lesser extent all the time. Eric Dahmer was not as much an aberration as some imagine.
