I understand your point of view, but his use of the term is appropriate, since it lays the groundwork in a way that a lot of people (who may not be as discriminating as you are...and I don’t mean that in a bad way...:) will relate to.

I think it is simply efficient writing for him. There is nobody anywhere of any color who sees the term “reverse racism” and doesn’t understand exactly what it refers to.

I give Dr. Sowell a pass on this. In my opinion, he has earned the right to use that phrase as a form of shorthand for his readers.

RL, I had my tongue in my cheek. I think it presumptuous to question Sowell’s language on this issue, not to mention a tad nit-picky.
