Children are to be banned from taking part in traditional Christmas games, from blowing up balloons to blowing on party whistles, because of new EU safety rules that have just entered into force.

The funniest part is where the EU declares that a popped balloon should be disposed of safely. Yes, I always keep popped balloons around in case I may need them later.

or me, it would depend upon whats inside that balloon. gas-o-line...
Amateur. My dad once filled a balloon from an acetyline tank for his welding torch on 4th of July and lit a rag under it. Loudest and brightest bang I've ever heard.
