My local nightclub (which resembles a cattle market more than a drinking establishment) has 80p a drink on a saturday.
Whilst traditional pub prices have gone up recently (because the anti-smoking nazis forced their trade away) there are still very many cheap, chain pubs such as JD Wetherspoons selling draughts, ales, lagers and spirits for a mere pittance.
Certainly not in London though!
