It's even conceivable that raw enthusiasm among core conservatives could carry him to the nomination. But then he'd have to cobble together a general election campaign team and strategy (and sufficient money to keep Obama's billion dollars from overwhelming his message) in almost no time. That's like trying to put together a viable Superbowl contender without the benefit of the team having ever played together until a month before kickoff.
I love his message, his personality, and his focus. I am deeply concerned that he just doesn't seem to understand what it will take to move his campaign to the next level. Many of his supporters don't have a clue either if they think he can win without a top tier team, several hundred million dollars in the bank, and carefully constructed and executed strategy.
Winning a big election on a wing and a prayer only happens in dime store novels and movies.
I think the Conservative Republicans who are pretty much out of the race to formally drop out and endorse and support Herman Cain. We need everyone getting behind him as soon as possible so he can start bringing in more money and getting help with his campaign.
