I'm home already and feeling like I'm getting another cold..sigh. Waiting for Mrs p6 to get up so I can jump in bed.
How is Mr S? Is he definitely going to have another implant? Figured you might take advantage of being off this week to sleep in.

Mr S is off of the Multaq, which was supposed to control the a-fib. His heart is racing more now that he’s off of it. The doc said the multaq has lots of very undesirable side effects. I dont’ know which is worse - with it or without it. The doc is setting up an appointment for him with a doctor in Pittsburgh. I want Mr S in Allegheny General, but his heart doc is affiliated with UPMC, so it will be Shadyside again. He will almost definitely have another implant put in. Then he will probably stay in for a week because they want to keep an eye on him.
Prayers for Mr. S...every med (that helps) seems to have a lot of side effects. PaDad is being weened off Actos (for diabetes) due to kidney issues (that he’s not having). Heaven help us all if Barky care goes thru.
Now...where can I get an EBT card? I did the math..just why am I going out to work today (or anyday?). We have been so fooled and taken advantage of. $191 per PERSON per month just for food!?! I would be geting a raise.

Ah, nuts! You just reminded me of things I was going to go shopping for yesterday. A store here apparently has huge pumpkins for only $2 each. I want to get some for pies and all.
Might have to run after work and see if they’re still there.
We went to Boyers today and got half bushels of several types of apples (Mr S has some Northern Spy apples in the dehydrator). We also got some acorn squash 4/$1 and some butternut squash for the same price. Also got our Jack O’ Lantern pumpkin. Cost us $3.99 for that.
We stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial on the way back. If any of you are in the vicinity, I would recommend the visit. It’s huge, and not shaped like the crescent. Unless they are still working on it. We took pictures. I’ll post several if I can.

I found a place today that sells things to grow your own mushrooms. Looks kinda look. I’ll post tomorrow. In bed on my edge now.
