Not so. An Lds bishop's daughter, Tricia Erickson, has written a book about Romney -- Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? Erickson was on CNN in July and said:

Mitt…held…offices of…Missionary, Missionary Zone Leader, assistant to…Mission President…,…Bishop and Stake President……You cannot attain the “calling”…to serve as Mormon Bishop or Stake President unless you are a thoroughly entrenched and obedient Mormon……I was…a Mormon Bishop’s daughter.

I wouldn't be at all surprised....if the HIVE overlooks many things that the big tither's do. The ends justify the means.

Certainly was that way back in Smith and Young's day...and things like that..don't really change much.

I've seen it before...within LDS, Inc. A blind eye here, a blind eye there...if you are a "bigshot" within "the Church".
