How did the Glide Path not work?
We had a budget surplus and the end of Gingrich and Kasich’s term didn’t we?
Bush and his Congress ( especially after 2006 when the Dems took over ) were the ones who BALLOONED the deficit.

You answered your own question, you cannot control future congressional acts. You either roll back and cap spending, are we stay on the path to Greece. And the balance from the glide path was forecast in the out years it never happened.
