Casey Anthony deposed in defamation suit

A lawyer in a Florida defamation suit against Casey Anthony said after her deposition Saturday he will ask a judge to "compel her to answer these questions."

Anthony, wearing a baseball cap, big sunglasses and what the lawyer, John Morgan, said looked like a wig, was questioned by video link from an undisclosed location, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported. Morgan represents Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez, who is suing Anthony for defamation.

Anthony has been reclusive since she was acquitted in July of charges including first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. During the investigation into Caylee's disappearance, Anthony told police her daughter had been abducted by a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez.

The plaintiff in the defamation suit says investigators subsequently sought her out, the newspaper said. Morgan said the episode is "a scar on (his client's) life and on her soul probably until the day she dies."

Morgan said Anthony, during the video deposition, answered questions such as whether she had attended her trial, but more specific inquiries prompted her lawyer, Charles Greene, to invoke her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

Morgan said he would file a motion asking a judge to compel testimony.

"We asked enough questions and got her to invoke the Fifth enough times that we feel we got enough to take a motion to the judge to compel her to answer these questions," he said.

POS and knox should move in together, neither would be able to sleep, thinking the other one might kill them.

You mean they could move in together and discuss how in both cases and after months of investigation the police had zero physical evidence to convince either of the juries to convict.

Whether we like it or not both were acquitted on lack of physical evidence, you generally need stuff like just a tiny bit of hard physical proof to prove probable cause. However, in the court of public opinion both have been guilty since the first minutes.

Ms. Anthony’s life is going to be a rough one. I can’t imagine how she carries on. She must wake up in the middle of the night, EVERY NIGHT, and remember what she did to that precious little girl.

Strange woman. I’d guess she is a Borderline Personality Disorder type...for those that have never met somebody with this “disorder”....you are lucky. Very disturbed people that cause havoc in every relationship. I know her parents came off as a bit odd...but having to raise that girl must have been a horror show.

She is a disaster waiting to happen. Just a matter of when and where.

Wrong, knox, is as guilty as hell, and so is the Anthony, the system screwed, up. There was plenty of physical evidence to convict both.

I’m not sure about Knox, but only an idiot would think Anthony didn’t do it.

Hm, ok. So it’s asserted that I’m stupid and wrong, and then there is nothing given to back up these assertions of me or what I wrote.

Can you explain either assertion of me by listing the physical evidence from each case (that should have both of the women behind bars right now)?
Inform me of exactly each huge rock-solid piece of physical evidence that incontrovertibly proves each woman was guilty of the crime they were accused.
Then you can school me on the difference between circumstantial evidence and physical evidence and how circumstantial evidence is more important than physical evidence.

(Please school me because I am so stupid, of course).
