To: fight_truth_decay

I usually start with the Times (have press access, so the paywall isn’t a problem) and Al Jazeera, then the Telegraph and the BBC. Between the four you get a reasonably balanced and only moderately left wing slant on the day’s stories.

I can believe the danger claims. I spent two years in Mexico in my youth (long distant!) and it was rough then. Now, according to friends, it is far too dangerous a place to raise a family, or run a business, or even to farm food!

One high school summer back in the 60s, I took a six week course at the Tech in Monterrey. Mexico had a growing middle class back then. If there was a drug problem, I sure didn't see it.
