Thought process of the liberal:
“The system is not fair. It is not just. We need to fix it so that it is fair and so that everyone is better off. Which far-left liberal Democrat should we elect to fix this problem? Ok. Let’s vote for that liberal Democrat.”
Two years later, the situation is worse, so the acorn-sized brain of the liberal begins thinking again.
“OK. That didn’t work. Which OTHER far-left liberal Democrat should we elect to fix this problem?”
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
-- Muir Redwoods 2011
And then when the whole thing crashes and burns, and the liberal leaders are gone, they say “OK, it didn’t work because we had the wrong people in charge. Next time, we’ll put the right ones over us.”
