Rep. Ron Paul of Texas turned out his well-organized crop of supporters Saturday and won a presidential preference straw poll with 37% of the vote.
Coming in second place in the poll of social conservatives at the annual Values Voter Summit was retired pizza chain executive Herman Cain, who pulled in 23% of the vote.

If Ron Paul won it does not speak well of their values.
If it’s Ron Paul vs Obama, I just won’t vote. The islamofascists would have a field day with this one.
“This thing is over for Perry. Romney has an outside against Cain unless we can abolish winner take all primaries.”
We would do better to eliminate open primaries like in Missouri.
Now that was funny!

That is his “Common Sense Solutions” tour bus. http://hermancainpac.com/2011/07/tea-party-favorite-herman-cain-setting-out-on-common-sense-solutions-bus-tour-in-iowa/
It sure had a ton of straw poll voters from Atlanta getting off it!
Prove it. Show me where “straw poll voters” got of Cain’s bus as opposed to security and campaign staff.
Actually, the winner take all primaries were abolished.
How do you know they voted in the straw poll and how do you know they were from Atlanta? You do know that this is a campaign bus with a custom interior and not full of seats like a city bus?
The Florida straw poll, which Cain easily won, is a different animal. The voters consist only of a limited number of delegates, selected by District, and consisting only of registered Republicans.
Other straw polls, like this one, consist of whoever can get there, however they can get there, including being bussed in, and having their tickets paid for, by certain candidate’s support groups.
It is far too early to assume Perry is out (or that RP is “in”, for that matter). The main thing is that Mittens must be stopped.
If I’m not mistaken, I believe Paulies get paid to do their “work” also...
The global socialists will resist him. You’d think that these candidates who are said to be so strong seem so feeble.
What’s with Perry doing so poorly? Could he just not find people to show up for him? It’s really been endless fail for Perry.
Great questions. I'm interested to see if the n00b shill for Perry responds.

Nah. It’s a n00b (or retread) Paulbot, trying to cleverly disguise himself as a Perry shill, and failing.
Ron Paul is a foreign policy MORON. MORON.
I hope he’s basking in his day in the Sun. He’s quite good at packing these polls with his Zombie followers and is doing NOTHING to keep RINO Romney from getting nominated.
Not organized. but see Ron Paul Forums. Ron Paul just has a lot more actual supporters than anybody else. And they just like to argue on the internet, to push blackthisout.com etc etc. They’re just much more enthusiastic. Ron Paul really didn’t put in too much of a push for VVS. But the grassroots really wanted to win, and they just went themselves. 37%, or 700 some votes. Some were there already, some were grassroots who just wanted Ron Paul to win, others might’ve been brought in. But there was no major push. The push is on for black this out.
Could be. Either way is has ZERO credibility when making unsubstantiated statements such as that.
