What is interesting to me about JonesTown is the congressman he killed Leo Ryan's then aide Jackie Spier she is my congresswoman in the US House. Well in a documentary I saw about JonesTown she is talking about Jonestown and how it was going to be a beautiful place and after all of the horror she saw and endured first hand she is a Socialist and believes in many of the things Jones was spouting.

Not surprising. Their blind faith in socialism lets them excuse it every time by saying "the wrong people got in charge; we just have to put the right people in power and everything will work!"
