I am not sure where the cops are or what they are doing but they may want to rethink leaving their cars unattended.
Where are the cops? A basic role of government: maintain the peaceful and sanitary conditions in a community and protect citizens from those that try to obstruct their freedom to move about.
The government switched from protection of the public to control of the public long ago.
