I don't have strong feelings either way, and I haven't been involved in the arguments circulating around this forum for the past several months. But there's a certain irony in asking a thread about Palin to be treated as a religion thread given the accusations of hero worship...just an observation.

I don’t have strong feelings either, but wouldn’t we rather get behind a candidate who is champing at the bit to take up the banner and get into the electoral fray than one who has to be begged to run?
