Sense before the “Civil War” the Feds have arrogantly maintained that they and their agents were above the law. Indeed this was one of the issues the Confederate Constitution addressed.

So sadly no, our Federal dictators will not allow themselves nor their agents to be subject to any law not of their own dictating.

There was a federal (Scotus??) case in the last year or two of a Western state, I think Wyoming; involving a County Sheriff vs the feds. County Sheriff won. County Sheriffs are flexing the Constitutional muscles. My County Sheriff has been fighing fed agency encroachment.
