[ It is always interesting when the youth go through their “sowing of the oats” period in life. Before committing to church membership, they often don “Yankee” clothes on weekends and hang out in bars. They even wire their buggies with high dollar sound systems and rattle the town’s windows. ]

How do they power the sound systems in their buggies do they use a battery and a generator hooked to the buggy wheels?

Yes batteries. Some of the buggies have little flashing lights on the back to prevent accidents at night. Again, that depends on the deacon.

One old woman complained that unlike the other kids with loud stereos, you have to listen to the entire CD while the Amish kids go by.
