Morning AM!

I’m on vacation next week. Can’t wait. Mr S went to heart dr’s yesterday. He has to get another pace-maker/defibrillator put in. I’m terrified. I’m afraid of the same scenario as last time. The chances of the pacemaker being contaminated a second time are probably slim, but I am afraid. So, Mr S may skip his vacation to save that time for a hospital stay. :-(

Thanks AM. That's what got us through the last time. :-)

Too bad about Sarah not running. It's good to know she's going to be a strong voice out there. On Mark Levin's show, she said she's not running for president "at this time". I'll be she' going to wait until her kids are older. I don't blame her! Maybe we'll see eight years of Herman Cain and then eight years of Sarah!

Prayers up FRiend. Is Mr. S’s procedure soon, or are they trying other options?

Interesting that Quinn talking about CMU. HS Senior son is still “looking”. CMU is a “don’t call us, well call you” school. Son is looking at engineering—PSU is $1k less instate tuition, than Virginia Tech is “out of statel tuition. Its such a racket.

Just got back from Walmart where I purchased two copies of “The Undefeated” and “Going Rogue” packages... boy was I sad as I listened to the Mark Levin Show. However, after watching Bristol getting verbally by the 47 year old HOMO, I can see why she made this decision.

Oh wow! Prayers up! It shouldn't really be a dangerous thing. Our newsman had one put in over a month ago and hasn't been back since. He probably won't be coming back.

He's 74 years old, a hypochondriac and claims he can hear the device ticking. Kinda like Captain Hook's crocodile, LOL!

It isn't a problem with the device or infection it's the noise he claims keeps him awake.

I guess it could happen but it's the first I've ever heard of something like that.

Meanwhile Quinn had a great idea...price controls on teachers!

That was my take too...”At this time.” Still disappointed though.

Cain is coming on strong.

Cain is coming on strong.

Yes he IS!

The more I hear him the more I like him. He may be even more "in your face" to the leftists than Sarah.

There are a couple of things that give me pause, mostly things I've read here on FR and it may be they are "disinformation" from FReepers who strongly back others so I don't put to much to them. So little that I don't even recall what they are except questions about the 999 plan.

I don’t want to ‘jinx’ him...but he really disarms with humor...and kinda a funny, smart dad (Bill Cosbyish). I love the Sheila Jackson Lee attacks on his statements—the contrast could not be clearer.

Fun night at the station. When I got in at midnight I found the main news computer was down. Actually it was the ethernet connection to the news server.

It had been down for a LONG time but nobody else cared and left it for me.

I blew out on the guy I was replacing for not calling the engineer and then did it myself.

Engineer said...oh, uh, I'm not coming in to fix it. You guys will just have to work around it.

Of course he had the door to the equipment room locked so I couldn't check the server. Tried resetting the news computer workstation and that didn't work. Couldn't get into the start menu to try resetting the mbs rate. Tried letting the machine go into sleep mode then waking it but nothing worked.

To top things off the other computers were acting up, running slow and not printing properly. I actually grabbed a lot of stuff on my edge!

Finally I did get most of the non news machines working and was able to gather and print some newscasts for the guy who was on air today.

BTW the WPGB listen live is great again today! Loads almost instantly on my home machine. MUCH improved over what it used to be!

LOL on Quinn’s bumper music of ‘Time to Lock and Load.’ My employers got a Bugzooka to eradicate our stink bug issue. Its actuaally fun to use...but you have to press down on the accordion part—and I am all “locked and loaded’ and my boss is like ‘where did that come from.’

If they only knew ;)

WHOA! I had to look that up. It is WAY COOL! Plus David Venable had it on QVC, the website has the video!

Have to show that to Mrs p6 and see if I'm allowed to get one, LOL!

BTW David Venable has the best job on TV! He gets to play with all kinds of cool stuff and gets to eat while he works! I am SO jealous!
