The problem is that we (at least me) need Republican candidates vetted and if they only go on friendly shows that throw softballs one of a number of things will happen: 1) They will get creamed in the general election,2) they will be a time bomb unknown once in office, or 3) they are not even running.
Where many apparently get sidetracked is that they decide they can magically know that a person they have ever met will do ‘the right thing’, or alternatively they don't really even care what they will do in the future office (like those defending Romney), they just want to beat the Democrats with ANYONE and vetting a Republican candidate by asking him/her questions is considered attacking and weakening them and a bad thing. Seeing them promoted on softball shows with nothing 'questions' is considered a brilliant strategy.
A Republican candidate interviewed by Hannity is about as worthwhile as watching Obama interviewed by Rev Al. Shapton the King of Obama Koolaid sellers.
Alternatively Republicans that go on these MSNBC shows (usually they are paid) and allow themselves to be debated 2 or 3 against 1 are pretty annoying to watch.
But I don't want a bunch of liberals who hate us doing the vetting. After we pick our candidate, fine - let them go on liberal shows if they want to, but until then we should stick to our own.
I'm sick of liberals picking our people - and yeah the press pushed McCain - until he was running against a dem - then he was dropped like a hot potato.
Cain is being passively pushed by some liberals because they must feel he would be easier to beat. Have you noticed they have NOT given him the Sarah Palin treatment? Dems have great oppositional research teams. And the press in their pocket... it's how they took Sarah down. Herman Cain's not getting the full dem hate bit. McCain didn't get it either. They hold back on people they want us to run... Do you want to give them that power? Palin wasn't invited on liberal shows BECAUSE people liked her more after they heard her. That's two tip-offs.
How many times did Obama appear on FOX when he was in the dem pack? I don't think he went on once until he was ‘anointed’..
